Hand block printed fabric in a striking black and yellow design on white. Bumblebee is a new design by Alice to the H&B print collection. Imagine a vibrant jumpsuit, or big skirt in this.
we have seen the heavier weight used for a blind which also worked really well.
The fabric has been printed by hand using carved wooden blocks. An ancient printing process very traditional in Jaipur, India. Which gives the design a relaxed organic feel. You will notice tiny dots running through the fabric which is how the printers know where to place the next blocks in the repeat.
Each colour will be a different block.
Available in two weights:
Lightweight - Cotton Cambric 70gsm
Suitable for a blouse, dress, shirt, quilting
Heavyweight - Slubby hand woven heavier weight 180gm
Suitable for a heavier dress, skirt, trousers, cushions, jacket
To order multiple metres put in one and then go to check out where it will allow you to increase the quantity of metres
